I know I do and since I just sold this Welsh Hutch recently I thought I would show you all what it looked like before, and after:
Here it is, in parts, before:
Paint, distressing, and new pulls that I also painted:
I also sold this one last fall, and thought it came out very nice.
Before:
After:
The 'counter' on that one was just sanded and sanded and sanded until it was super smooth.
And this one was my first, and is in my kitchen, 'After':
During:
And 'Before':
And Another.... I was in a real Hutch Funk for a while there...
I decided [after my husband used it as a spot to cut something and ended up cutting off part of the top] to redo this hutch I had already redone. Cause, you know, there's no laundry or vacuuming or cooking to do around here. OY!
Here it is redone 1st time:
The top is now sanded down to wood, and super smooth. Now I have a hankering to take it a step further and paint the entire hutch, minus the powder blue interior, either black or grey.
Votes?
Nothing is ever, truly, 'Done' around here I guess.

Great job! Love love white hutches!
I love them all, and you are so right. I knew it was the same hutch as soon as I saw the thumbnail. I wanted to click right away, but I was trying to be polite and start with #1 and comment my way down, you beat me to it. I love how you have finished them all. Ive got alot of work ahead of me, I have to make more work time. lol What you said about your husband cutting on it is hysterical because my husband did the same think on my black one (i left the big nicks)....and this morning when I went out to photograph the gray one there was sawdust all of the metal bib part. lol Men? Thanks for visiting and commenting me.
You do lovely work. I'm looking for a narrow hutch on kijiji and craigslist with the intention of painting for our kitchen. Unless I find the perfect, and inexpensive, rustic one. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you EVERYONE! This all happened at just the time I was starting to doubt my instincts and contemplating throwing in the paint brush.
So a BIG thanks goes to Jennifer Rizzo for having this Party, and the rest of you for taking the time out of your busy days to stop by, look, and comment!
